Today was a rest day in Eureka, KS. It was nice having our own house for a rest day! Matt and Monica were out by 7:30, and Joop and I made breakfast shortly after. We had bacon, ham, eggs, and toast. It's always great to take advantage of a kitchen!

We pretty much just relaxed most of the day, fixing various things and working on our blogs. I also did some work on another website since I had extra time and watched a movie. Robyn came to the house during her lunch break and she walked me through the steps of making meat loaf, then we put it into the crock pot so we could have it for dinner. For lunch, Joop and I made some homemade burgers which were absolutely delicious!

We went to the library when it opened at 1:30 so that we could get some wifi since there wasn't any at the house. We hung out there for quite a while, then decided around 4 that we should go to the museum since we thought it closed at 5:30. Unfortunately when we got to the museum at 4:03, we found out that it had closed at 4. So we went to the grocery store to get some things for tomorrow and went back to the air conditioned library for a little bit longer before returning to the house.

We spent the rest of the night hanging around and talking with Robyn and having dinner. I really enjoyed conversations with Robyn. She is a very sweet woman with a huge heart for helping others. Her hospitality during our stay was incredible. During our two day stay she would frequently ask if there was anything else that she could get for us, and she even offered to leave us her car during our rest day - though we decided that was not necessary. A little bit after 9:30, Joop and I headed off to bed.
